second take

i was just listening to cbc. anna maria tremonti was interviewing avi lewis about his movie 'the take'. (i haven't seen it, but i think that it showed at the oxford one night last fall.) anyway, in the interview they used the word 'capitalism' so many times that i sort of forgot what it meant. it reminded me of when i was a kid and would say "good-good-good-good-good-good" until i didn't know what 'good' was anymore and it just sounded like a stupid sound i was making.

the people i know who have seen it say that 'the take' is a good movie about the perils of capitalism.
