i bought some new jeans today. those old jeans were just never gonna fit again. i realize that now, and i get rid of them gladly.

Hmm. Eek. Ah. Respect. Actually I find a mild "muffin top" (?) kinda sexy. But if it ain't comfortable, yeah, ditch the pants.
After starving in Berlin for a year, then picking up clothes in Halifax, it was funny to discover how loose they fit.
After 3 months of sitting in a train 25 hours a week, making enough money to eat when I'm hungry, it's very disappointing to realise it would have been smarter to just take an apartment in Hannover and dedicate those 25 hours to regular sleep and sport activities. I refuse to go into detail. ;-)
