Unanswered Prayers: Letters to God found dumped in ocean

according to this news story, an insurance adjuster who was out fishing found some letters washed up on a beach near atlantic city. the letters were prayers written to god. little snippets that were included in the article made my eyes water and my nose run - not actual crying, but almost.

we all keep secrets. we all have things that we need but aren't getting. we all wish there was someone out there who could forgive us. wouldn't it be great if there was an address you could write to and whatever you wished for would be given?

writing these things down is hard, but i wonder what i would write in a letter? what dil would write? my mom? jake? sam? with so many things to yearn for and so many things to be forgiven, i'm almost sorry that i don't believe in god...
